Imagework
courses
Imagework training
courses are presented by the Skyros Institute, European Centre for Holistic
Studies. Dr Dina Glouberman, creator of the Imagework approach, has designed
these courses, which have a standard core and structure, tested and developed
through many years of her experience as a psychotherapist and holistic
educator. They are essential for anyone with a personal, professional
or business interest in harnessing the power of the inner world of images.
Participants are given the tools to better understand themselves and to
guide their lives, and to help others to do the same. Topics range from
time and money, decision making, achieving difficult goals, problem solving
and life planning, to relationships, the inner child, health and healing
and dreams.
Both Fundamentals of Imagework and the Practitioners Course may be counted
towards professional counselling accreditation. A Skyros Institute Certificate
is awarded on completion of each course. A Diploma in Imagework is awarded
on satisfactory completion of the whole series. Graduates of the Practitioners
Course may join the Imagework association, which offers professional
affilliation, support and continuing supervision.

Why
take these courses?
These
imagework courses are intended to provide a bridge between the knowledge,
understanding and decision making of our conscious mind, and the extraordinary
resources inherent in our intuitive mind.
This
is for anyone who is curious about how to focus their thinking on a
deeper level, to go beyond old habits and fears from the past, and to
penetrate to the heart of the matter. From right thinking, right action
naturally follows.
Research also shows that illness, depression, frustration, stress and
burnout can all result from sticking to outdated thinking in new situations.
How can we change direction before it is too late?
By
learning the deep language of imagery, we enable the ‘control
room’ of our soul, our passionate heart centre, and our inspired
larger mind to speak together. The result is profoundly original thinking
and planning which takes account of all factors, including our own true
nature. From that central core of understanding, our natural brilliance
emerges.
Put
simply, we know what to do—and we are prepared to do whatever
it takes to achieve our goals. We become unstoppable.
The
facilitator
The course will be facilitated by Dr Dina Glouberman and a team of Imagework
teachers.
What
participants say:
“After
the imagework course I find I have a range of new resources at my constant
disposal and a community to reach out to share them with. My images
have continued to change and reveal surprising insights and it’s
a great relief and an adventure to know they are there to be consulted,
trusted and explored at any time.”
“I was deeply moved by your session. The consequence was a feeling
of wholeness integration, strong sense of belonging and part of the
larger whole – wonderful.”
“The
course went way beyond my expectations. Somehow Dina connects with everyone,
and has touched a part of me which has opened up and will continue opening.
“Thank
you for being such a loving, wise and illuminating teacher.”
“Thank
you Dina for your wisdom, energy and good humour, all of which came
through so onsistently over the course – I appreciated it very
much.”
“I
really appreciated your high level of skill and even more your lovely
personality and loving spirituality.”
